This Millgrain Joint Venture Company commenced operation in the latter part of 2002 based at the Yeoman Backhouse site at Seaforth Dock. Using units manufactured and imported from Reimer of Canada, it delivers both standard and foamed concrete by volumetric method. The advantage of this method is the ability to deliver the exact quality and quantity of fresh concrete regardless of distance. The equipment is also capable of producing, from the same delivery, differing mix designs of concrete.
